It is snowing like crazy! I've never lived anywhere that actually snowed so this is amazing me. It was Jasper's first time in the snow and he didn't really know what to do. He seemed pretty excited to explore but he was getting snow stuck on his paws and it was worrying me so we didn't stay outside very long. I need to get him some little boots to wear! Yesterday I had to pick Caralie up at SeaTac. I left at 7:30 and was lucky that it wasn't snowing nor raining. I got a little past Federal Way and suddenly it started snowing pretty hard. We were all going about 60 mph and I slowed down to about 40 that was still too fast. The roads were slippery and I ended up spinning out of control. I thought for sure I was going to hit the center divider, but luckily I remembered to tap on the brakes and I finally stopped. I was so lucky no one hit me! I reversed and continued driving, but this time going no more than 25 mph! I was very freaked out and had to turn the radio off, hold on to the steering wheel like my life depended on it and reassure myself out loud that everything was going to be just fine. There must have been someone watching over me up there because I made it to the airport and all the way back home! We didn't get back until around 11:30 it was the longest most horrible drive ever lol. I really do NOT want to drive in the snow anymore! Dave came over after he got off work and we hung out for a little while. Things have felt a lot better with us lately and I am excited to go to his house tonight and drink hot chocolate by the fireplace!! Tomorrow is his day off so we are going to go play in the snow
As for the job thing, I am still waiting to hear back from the golf course and Wal-mart to see if I passed the background check! I am hoping Wal-mart hires me because it is so much closer and if I have to drive in the snow I don't want to drive all the way to Spanaway! Wal-mart is a lot closer and plus it isn't seasonal like the golf course job would be. So we'll see!!
