Productive day in Second 1st

Feeling like we are getting a ton done today. It’s only 10:15am and we’ve already seen the two guys that were coming today. The second quote on the pipes will come via email later. The AC/Heat guy had to go to Nashville for parts, so it will be awhile. I got up, did dishes and laundry, then made chicken fried rice. I was waiting for the rice when I decided to start on the bed. I moved the big man chair in front of the TV and pulled the mattress and box springs out of the bedroom, leaning them against the chair. Rocky got home and it kinda struck me that there was only one seat in the living room because of what I had done. It’s a warm 65 out so we ate on the front porch drinking coffee and talking about the yard. This is the bush I wanted gone because it’s in the middle of the darn yard.... not so sure as it has started blooming with the mild temps.

We managed to get the platform bed put together and the bed unrolled. We didn’t make it yet as it has a slight smell… should air out though. The pillows had a smell too when we got them out of the boxes, it’s been 24 hours since we opened those and they have no smell now. Figure it should be the same with the mattress. Might sleep on it tonight anyway but we will decide that later. Don’t knock the pillow case, yes those are Christmas trees, no I don’t care, we got the set cheap after the holiday and they are comfy.

AC/Heat guy just came to ask if we want him to clean the blower while he’s in there.... we have the money so we are going to do that too as it will increase efficiency and therefore decrease overall electric cost.
After this we are headed to Nashville to do on boarding for Doordash… I hope. If not we will at the least do groceries so we can do that on Wednesday.
While waiting to move on with our day Rocky is sorting his movies. Categories will kinda look like this:
Superhero/comic movies (ex: Spawn, Hancock, Batman)
Zombies
Apocalyptic (2012, The Happening)
Comedy
Movies that should belong to Jen (lol romantic comedys)
Action
others (I think Lord of The Rings should be here or action.... his movies his call..)
He was getting very frustrated because he couldn’t find The Avengers when he wanted it so this is out of need rather than just trying to get organized. Still I’m happy to see it being done. I don’t want to have to pass 300 Zombie flicks if I want to watch 50 Fist Dates or Get Him to The Greek. Apparently we are missing a bunch in Marvel series so I’m sure we will keep an eye out for them. Should come out of the House fund I think lol. We have 6 out of 14… so we are making a list and it looks like we will add McKay’s to our list of things to do today....Looks like the heater guy is done.... Rocky’s started a movie :( but I’m sure he’ll be ready to move on as soon as we are allowed. Feeling like a very productive day
