Gosh, I don’t know how many times I keep trying to write in this thing.
I just finished the last paper I had due for the semester last night between throw-up events. This is the second time in a month I’ve thrown up from taking an antibiotic. It was a different one this time too. I must not have eaten enough before I took it or something. They’re making me a lot sicker than they used to in general as well.
Anyway, I’m getting over strep throat and I have a pretty bad cold, so it’s been a trying week.
I finished my first semester of grad school with successful results, so there’s that. I think I am allowed to be proud of myself for it, but I still am not very.
I decided to add a certificate to my degree: leadership in disability studies.
I’ve been applying to other jobs. Still no interviews.
My kids are doing really well. I don’t know if I wrote about this, but Cannon may not need an IEP next year in kindergarten (yes, I just said kindergarten !). He’s doing SO well with all of his speech, social, and occupational goals. I couldn’t be more proud of him. They’re still working on a couple of things with social, but he’s on par to surpass his goals by the end of pre-k this year.
He loves to practice his letters, and always asks me how to spell things. He likes different things other than Thomas now, but he still likes Thomas the Train a lot. He is very interested in holidays. It was Halloween, and now it’s Christmas. He loves Christmas songs, and doing art-related things with it. He loves to create. He loves to build. He talks about robots and butts a lot. He thinks “booty butt” is the most hilarious phrase!
Lorelei knows all of her shapes, colors, letters, numbers, etc. Her language development is pretty advanced. I think it helps that she has an older brother to talk to! She really loves animals, especially cats. She likes dogs a lot too, but prefers cats. She loves to dress up in her Minnie Mouse costume, and others. She loves Peppa Pig. She loves play doh and art things, as well as books. She still loves snuggles. She’s a pretty antagonistic little thing too, and she tries to get away with tricking people often.
I’m still dating the same person, and we’re at six months now. Still very serious. Still very healthy. :)
I wish I could write as often as I used to, I miss it.
I had a thing I wanted to write about Gilmore Girls and I just don’t have the brain juice when I’m as sick as I am today. ;(
I didn’t enjoy the new episodes, that’s for sure.
Bah.
