My job kind of had an impromptu meeting with me just to compliment me on my work eithic. In 6 months of working there I've only taken off one day and that was when a wedding was involved and I gave more than enough notice.
They actually told me that they noticed I often don't take lunch and want me to include some breaks in my day so I don't get burnt out.
I def think when a year anniversary comes up I'll be getting a raise but how much depends on how well the school is doing - and right now we're still treading water. I really hope this school makes it.
Relationship wise things couldn't be better. We haven't fought in a long time. And Will covered my half of the rent cause he knows I'm struggling. His plan is to help me pay off my credit card [it kills me that I can hardly do it on my own] because he wants to get our savings up - right now I hardly put anything into savings cause I'm trying to pay down my bills.
Unfortunately the reason he wants to up savings is because his parents owe a lot on their home and probably other bills. They are in their 60's and not in good health and with his sister facing bankruptcy and single mom to a kid, she won't be much help.
When his parents die the debt will fall on him and me basically.
But I might have mentioned before - I've put $2000 towards my $7000 credit card bill in 6 months. I'm working HARD at it but it's still a slow going process. It's prob still gonna take me a year to pay it off BUT with a good refund this year I could pay it off sooner. I'm still waiting on my W2 from Panera.
I have a different 'diet' book but I might as well say here that lowering my cals - I'm not at about 1800 cals a day - has been helping. I've prob lost... 6 lbs this month. Not much of a difference in my clothes yet but at least I'm not any bigger.
I have a cold - yuck. Hasn't dimmed my appetite lol.
That's it I guess. Not much going on. But I like it that way.
