Elaine and I are here in Tennessee and we are having a great time…I arrived kind of late last night and she picked me up at the airport.
We found this really cool speakeasy and had a couple of cocktails and stayed until last call. Cool place - the secret bar is in a library in this hotel close to where we’re staying. You have to go behind a sliding door to get inside and we left out the back door that goes into an alley - the only marking was a red light. Very secret like.
Back to the little loft Airbnb, which is cool but kind of weird in that it is on a lower floor where we are not getting a lot of natural light. But it’s nice and cute and will work just fine for our purposes.
Today we’ve had coffee and crepes and walked the university campus and are getting ready to go find some lunch and a cocktail.
Tomorrow’s the big event - the mountain drive and I can’t wait.
