Yesterday was a regular day besides almost killing another kid - BUT i wasn’t involved this time. Another allergy issue. Kicker is: power went out in the kitchen and I was almost asked to go in there but they asked someone else instead. I think they know I’m a last resort - but I don’t even want to be a last resort. The director is never a last resort. Why me?
Cause I was nice enough to help out and then became their back up - that’s why. ANYWAY
Worked late, cooked, ate, exercised (surprise I got on the damn treadmill) and put away more laundry. Will did the laundry and i put it away. Team work! I was gonna job search but i have a written running list of criteria, like locations, etc. and I couldn’t find that damn paper so i just gave up.
Today was another normal day at work.
Being asked to stay late on the regular but the only reason I was ok with it this friday is because my sis was working late so her MIL had Emma. I never go to the MIL’s house. My parents did go get her - but later so instead I went to this pumpkin patch thing with SIL and MIL.
It was really nice. I’ve been before but they did not, they really liked it. I dunno why MIL wanted to go, it’s all walking and BOTH her knees are bone on bone. I think she’s finally getting the gel injections in November but they want to do 2 knee replacements and she’s afraid of the surgery and recover so she’s saying no.
I know she was in pain walking all that way. I could see she was in pain but she wants to act like she’s not so they don’t bother her about the surgery.
Then SIL had a hankering for Chinese. Let me tell you that I ate a light healthy dinner before going out with them because I knew there was going to be cupcakes and hot cocoa and I didn’t want to be tempted. But they were late getting me and it was a lot of walking so by the time we were done I WAS hungry - and out of points - and SIL wanted Chinese.
Did I get a nice steamed veggie option? No I did not.
I told her - I’ve already over eaten so why not enjoy Chinese. I’m not losing this week either.
She doesn’t know how she did. She said she’s been walking 20 minutes at a time. Which is big for her because she’s over 300lbs, and has knee and back pain so she never exercises. But today she had a lot of appointments and had BK for lunch and now Chinese for dinner so she doesn’t know if she’ll lose either.
It kinda sucks because we both want to lose weight. I don’t want to see her fail. I don’t want to fail. But we’re both food addicts and can’t make a right decision to save our lives!
I gained a lb last week. I was hoping to at least lose that lb this week. But I dunno. I’m tired from the walking at the pumpkin patch and stuffed from the Indochinese. I don’t know how I’ll feel tomorrow. I don’t know if I’ll feel any lighter than last weekend.
How many gains can you have in WW before they kick you out? Or pull you aside and talk to you about it. How many people come to weight watchers and GAIN on a consistent basis??
Will worked all night yesterday, slept in his car and worked all night tonight and late tonight when he comes home we’re going to drop his caddy back to the mechanic - something to do with the exhaust.
We have 3 cars between us and barely a way to get around! All I want is a new job to save for a new (used) car. I’m not even thinking about vacations now. I need a reliable car. And Will needs to whip one of his into shape!

you have to really want to lose the weight and not let things like someone else having Chinese food make you want to eat it (I have these same struggles, id love to eat everything in the world, but I cannot) and im sure they will keep you in the program as long as you keep paying for it. they might suggest you see a doc about if you have something else going on that would cause you to gain weight (thyroid issues)
