everything that rises must converge in formless

my lies (omissions) are catching up with me
I will break my own heart
my body refuses to play along

a series of events occurred yesterday that could only have meant one thing
the walls are caving in
I will lose my most treasured thing

(no more warmth found in love)

I deserved to be happy too, you know
but I was selfish and careless
unwilling to be vulnerable
