– YOU –
Nervous Habits? I bite my nails sometimes, or jig my leg sometimes

Are you double jointed? not really, I used to be able to bend my arms almost completely behind my back, but after having my left shoulder tightened up my junior year of high school I haven’t been able to do that

Can you roll your tongue? yup

Can you raise one eyebrow at a time? yeah, my right eyebrow has the ever-so-slightest droop to it so it doesn’t raise as high as it used to

Can you blow spit bubbles? yeah

Can you cross your eyes? yeah, I can move one eye at a time, too

Tattoos? I have two, a “chinese” symbol for what is claimed to mean “vicious” (I picked it out ‘cause it looks like my initials, and it actually looks like a combination of Sezzie and I’s initials, so I like it even more), and I have the word “veritas” tattooed on my right calf

Piercings and where? no piercings

Do you make your bed daily? I’m not sure, I don’t think I remake my side of the bed after I get up

Which shoe goes on first? I’m pretty certain I put my left shoe on first

Speaking of shoes, have you ever thrown one at anyone? possibly, I grew up with a younger brother

On the average, how much money do you carry in your purse/wallet? I’d say about $60, on average

What jewelry do you wear 24/7? I don’t wear anything 24/7

Favorite piece of clothing? I really enjoy all of my athletech clothes, but I love when it’s cold enough for me to wear my gigantic golden hoodie

– FOOD –
Do you twirl your spaghetti or cut it? I’m a twirler, that’s how it’s designed to be eaten so I roll with that

Have you ever eaten Spam? yeah, it was better than liverwurst, but it wasn’t good enough for me to buy it more than the one time

Favourite ice cream flavour? I dig me some Ben & Jerry’s Chunky Monkey

How many cereals in your cabinet? I guess 5, I have a bowl of cereal every night (as a sort of finishing move for my day’s intake)

What’s your favourite beverage? I’ve been enjoying water more and more lately, coffee is definitely up there, too

What’s your favourite restaurant? I’ll go with Sezzie’s answer for this and say Red Robin, I have never been disappointed there and I’ve never left there hungry

Do you cook? I can, but Sezzie’s been doing most of the cooking since Ashley was born (so I can take over the parenting for a while)

How often do you brush your teeth? once at night, but I floss in the morning and at night

How often do you shower/bathe? once a day, when I get home from work or after Ashley and I play outside after I get home from work

Hair drying method? I barely have enough hair to dry so I mostly just rub my head with my towel and it’s done

Have you ever colored/highlighted your hair? nope

Do you paint your nails? no, but I’ll let Ashley paint them if she’s painting Sezzie’s and I’m around

– MANNERS –
Do you swear? not super-often

Do you ever spit? not really

– WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE –
Animal? polar bears are so cool

Food? tough one! I love the salads that eat every day, but my favourite meal would have to be beans and cornbread

Month? I like May, it’s my birthday month and it’s usually not too hot and not too cool

Day? I’ll go with Sunday because it’s mostly all about relaxing

Cartoon? The Simpsons, I love that we’ve got a lot of it so we can watch it with Ashley

Shoe Brand? I love my Skecher Work shoes, and my regular-walking-around shoes are also Skecher, so I guess I’m a Skecher man

Subject in school? that’s a tie between math and biology

Color? darkish red

Sport? american football, though I haven’t watched any sports in a very long time, now the fact that they make such exorbitant amounts of money playing a game mostly just annoys me

TV show? I loved Good Eats

Best Looking Male Celebs? I don’t know who’s a celebrity anymore

Thing to do in the spring? go for walks and playing outside with Ashley

Thing to do in the summer? same as the spring

Thing to do in the fall? same as the previous two seasons

Thing to do in the winter? stay inside and drink hot coffee or cocoa

– IN AND AROUND –
The CD player? the CD player in the car as a few Michael Jackson CD’s and some mixed CD’s that Sezzie cobble together

Person you talk most on the phone with? I don’t really talk on the phone

Ever taken a cab? yeah, we took one in Washington DC when I was a kid, and I’m certain we took one in Chicago at least once

Do you regularly check yourself out in store windows and mirrors? if I’m walking by them I’ll usually look at myself

What color is your bedroom? it’s this lovely, calming blue, perfectly suited for a bedroom

Do you use an alarm clock? we have one and there’s an alarm set, but I generally wake up (or get woken up) before it goes off

Window seat or aisle? I get the aisle so I can get up more easily

– LA LA LAND –
What’s your sleeping position? sometimes on my side, or face-down, if I sleep on my back I tend to start snoring

Even in hot weather do you use a blanket? nah, if it’s hot we’ll just have a sheet over us, I usually stick my feet out of whatever we have, anyway

Do you snore? yeah, if I’m on my back

Do you sleepwalk? I don’t think so

Do you talk in your sleep? I know that I have

Do you sleep with stuffed animals? sometimes if Ashley has one it’ll nuzzle into my back

How about with the light on? no, that’s just wasteful and annoying

Do you fall asleep with the TV or radio on? nope

– WHICH IS BETTER –
Coke or Pepsi? I don’t really drink either, but I have access to free Pepsi at work so if I needed some sugar/caffeine and I didn’t feel like a coffee I’ll have some of that diluted with water

Oranges or apples? I prefer apples for out-of-hand eating

One pillow or two? two, one under my head and one to sort of hug/support my torso

Deaf or blind? I think I would have an easier time being deaf than blind

Pools or hot tubs? pools are more fun, but a good soak in a hot tub can be pretty ethereal

Blondes or brunettes? Sezzie’s sort of both of those, her hair has this nifty golden/blonde/red/brown gorgeousness to it that I just love

Tall or short? I like people of all heights, but I’m glad that I’m tall

TV or radio? I like the radio at work, and I like TV at home

Beach or pool? meh, I enjoy a good walk on a beach and going into the water for a little bit is nice, and hanging out in a pool is okay, too, but neither is something I actively seek out

Tic-Tacs or Certs? I haven’t had certs in forever, so I’ll say Tic-Tacs

Snooze button or jump out of bed? I wake up before my alarm goes off, generally

Sunrise or sunset? they’re both pretty and I like that the sunrise means a day is just getting started and that a sunset means I’ve made it through another day, so I can’t pick between those two

Hamburger or cheeseburger? I prefer my burgers with cheese, please

Morning or night? again, I like them both for pretty much the same reasons as I like the sunrise and sunset

Sports or news? I don’t care much for either of those these days

Indoors or outdoors? I love going out for walks with Ashley and playing outside with her, but then I love being in for the night

Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? they’ve sort of morphed into the same kind of day for me over the years

Cake or ice cream? I like them together, but I’d prefer ice cream as a stand-alone dessert

Spearmint or peppermint? they’re both pleasant

Bath or shower? I like showering for my day-to-day cleanliness, but a good hot soak in a bath does wonders for an aching body when I need it

Book or movie? I prefer reading these days, it’s easy to do quietly

Green or red apples? I prefer golden delicious

Rain or snow? I’d much rather it rain, you don’t have to shovel rain

Nike or Adidas? I don’t buy either of those brands

– WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU –
Took a shower? this afternoon after I got home from my walk/play-outside-time with Ashley

Cried? when I watched the first half of Contact that night a couple weeks ago

Talked on the phone? I can’t remember, which is why I don’t bother having my own phone

Read a book? I’m reading Carl Sagan’s Cosmos at the moment, such an amazingly cool book

Punched someone? the last time that comes to mind was when my brother and I got into some minor fisticuffs when I tried to wake him up so we could get to school, that was over fifteen years ago

– THE FUTURE –
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? hopefully in a bigger place so Ashley can have more of her own space

Kids, how many? we have the one and we’re very happy and it’s a big enough of a challenge for the time being, maybe one more some time in the future, but we’re doing awesomely as we are for now
