Ever since I started paying close attention to how my nervous system reacts to certain situations - my eyes are opening to a wealth of healing.
Take my last post - the issues that I was dealing with caused my central nervous system to go into overload. For the scientist, they describe it as adrenaline being pumped into your system and engages your fight or flight mode. Sometimes it happens and you aren’t even aware of it if you don’t recognize the symptoms. Your brain, thru your natural circumstances seeks to protect and preserve and floods your system with adrenaline.
We all cope with it in different ways. Some people get active and clean, some people just talk, some people shop, and me - well, apparently, I tell corny jokes and try to force an awkward moment on everyone.
If we all understood our overwhelmed central nervous system more, there would probably be way less conflicts.
I’ve learned lately that I detest negativity. It burns thru me like rage.
I’ve also learned that I hate playing music at weddings… That’s to be continued.
