Help me with a moral dilemma (please!) in Each Day

Here’s my position:
I am a serving member of the military.
I don’t believe that uniforms have a place at a Pride Parade. (Despite this belief, I understand that some military members would want to represent that part of their life at Pride. Canada has a dark history of persecution, and the fact that today folks can be Queer AF in uniform is a huge win).
I am part of the Pride Defense Advisory group and we do important work for the 2SLGBTQI+ community within the military. It is these people that I want to march with.
I cannot march with my colleagues unless I wear my dress uniform.
I missed attending Pride with colleagues in University and I still am sad about what I missed. I’m worried about regretting missing out again.

I honestly don’t know what is more important to me, this belief that the uniform doesn’t belong at Pride, or having the opportunity to actually celebrate with the people who do so much work the rest of the year.
