  1. “Why don’t pictures like this never trend?” Because they’re weird janky AI fakes, that’s why. Maybe if they were of real things that actually happened, sure, they would actually trend. But sloppily composed barfs of religious or patriotic imagery SHOULDN’T trend.

  2. A French-Indian fusion restaurant called “Marseilles Masala”.

  3. The band KISS really wasted the idea of a “Kiss Army” by calling their fan club that. Imagine a literal kiss army, an army that conquers with the power of kisses! We need an actual kiss army, badly.

  4. You’ll never know yourself as well as you know anyone else, and that is beautiful.

  5. Giving someone your “thoughts and prayers” and then doing nothing is the same as clicking an online petition and then doing nothing, two sides of the same American slacktivism coin. Replacing action with inaction that feels like doing something is doing less than nothing.

  6. Lucas never had a vision for Star Wars. He had some flawed but interesting ideas he took from other places, that collaborators turned into two & a half really good movies. With only George at the helm, it was toddlers saying “Wizard” & an hour of Parliamentary debate.

  7. Twelve pictures of John Lennon’s oldest kid are technically a Julian Calendar.

  8. I’ve long said someone should make an entire album of that epic last song a band will put to end the album, you know, 12 tracks of that. “Oops, All Epic Last Songs”. Then I listened to Magnolia Electric Company and I was like, well, this guy got pretty close.
