Adult stuff first.
Ch started his FIRST REAL job! Hes working at Subway. Yesterday was his first day. So happy for him. Hes going to work like 3 days a week after school and weekends. :) Hes really excited. He put a bag under the tv with his tips in it that says "Ch Tips" so he can save them lol. Unfortunately the subway is at walmart... which means, I have two chances a day to go to walmart!
B is in the kitchen right now working on his engine. Gah i wish it was done. But also not pushing on him. Its not his fault its not yet. He had to have money and time and help and all the things. Its hard being almost 22 living at home and fixing your engine in your moms kitchen im sure...
Welp Saturday was shopping day kinda. We havent done a ton of grocery shopping in some odd months, We just do little runs here and there. Seems to be working for us.
We hit up ALL the plant stores and bought, NOTHING. Seriously..
Then we went to walmart and bought 2 roses, some annuals ( paintbrush flowers ) a dianthus, some little pretty smelling puffball thing that little girl wanted.
We went back today, i bought more paintbrush flowers, 2 packs of moss roses ( ice plants) a bleeding heart...
We planted both roses on either side of our Faux porch ( its a small cement pad and stairs up to the door, lame) I potted one big pot of zukes, the other I put in the perennials I got. I added my spent tulips to the pot of spring blooms and added 2 columbine to the pot ( there is one in there too) its crowded but its mostly tulips, hyacinth and daffodil blubs. So the only thing that will grow through the summer is the columbine, Im cool with that.
We planted a hydrangea we got a few weeks ago.
T ran water to every one of them so they all are on the watering timer.
In the garden, i put in some zukes, some tomatoes, peppers, bought a new basil seeing mine drowned, I thought it froze. Oh no, total root rot from drowning. I forgot to pull the plug in its pot. WHOOP. I put thyme and rosemary together, Thyme and sage together. Sage and basil, and then lavender by itself.
I did bunching onions, and garlic chives in the onion bed. I trim the greens so they come back every year. So we already had a bunch! Yay.
Im waiting to see what of my strawberries come up before I rip out that entire half of the bed.
I need to order another raised bed. I put in one full 6 ft by 3 ft of potatoes ( red and golds) and the other has half zukes. and half strawberries. I need a place to plant all my seeds. Ive got carrots, parsnip ( spicy carrots!) and a few other root veg that need a deeper pot. Amazon had some of the metal raised beds I like for like 40 bucks. Or I could spend 80 and get covers on them. Oh peas, I got pea plants too!
The stuff i bought today...
I got a candy cane rose.
And a sunset rose.
Im pretty particular about roses. They need to SMELL like roses. Not no smell hybrids. I want real rose smell. So I smelled all the roses and found these ones at walmart, about 4 ft tall for 18 bucks each, YAASSSS.
I honestly have spent like 400 on plants this season. Ive overspent for sure.

T is being really indulgent, We have had some big talks lately and hes realizing that unfortunately hes been a problem and he cant get what he wants if he treats me xyz ways. So now we BOTH have to undo 18 plus years of shit that we have done to each other... Its hard. :(
Lets see, I repotted my Florida Beauty. Well I had two, Now i put them in one pot together... Oh and my spider plant is flowering. So are some of my coleus, and my chinese evergreen which is red...
Did you KNOW how nutty of a plant nut I am? No? welllp.. Idk i can count over 20 houseplants in my living room, I have a dozen in the kitchen, a dozen in my bathroom, 2-3 dozen at work. Im a nut.

Working on my book blanket today. And crocheting some hangers onto dish towels because people keep tying them onto the stove. So im crocheting a handle to put it on there itself. idk why... Procrastination I guess?
Cleaned my living room up, and yeah... Waiting to see when this lady wants to pick up my little parrot. I decided to sell her. T cant do it, and shes noisy. So im trying to find her a new home to make things easier. And me.. Ive kinda checked out from having a parrot. Its been a lot.
Ok i think thats all my random idk whats lol. Just random randomness.
