Its only tuesday.

My work baby put in his notice. He came to me at 22, finishing his masters degree which is so impressive. He said cool cool to every bad thing we mock played to teach him some damn experence haha. I had to correct every response. He only wanted to work with children. Of course, hes a baby! He was a cheerleader, and now coaches the local highschool squad AND a dance team on top of working full time. In the last 4 years, he finished school. Stayed on, worked. Got his FULL license recently. And in the last 6 months, hes been growing up. He dosent need me as much, almost never in the last few months. Still hold his hand while he gets his STI results, but he dosent need me for work..

He got a client a while ago, We had to work on him to see adults in the first place. And he got an older adult with a history of sexual assult. Long time ago, But had a current sex addiction. Not actually having sex, just addiction.

It triggered a thing for him. All of a sudden, he KNEW where he wanted to go. To work with Sex Offenders. He got his SOMB ( sex offenders specialized training) And we knew he cant work with those with us. We dont get sex offense much.... We have so many woman and children and it feels odd. BUT we support him!

So he applied to work in the sex offence ward at the prison.

He starts in 2 weeks.

Yall my WORK BABY IS GOING TO JAIL!

Hes ready. Hes going to fly. He is so ready... We worry some. Hes soft, hes young, hes gay, he wears ripped pants and hand crochet cardigans to work. I taught him to crochet in between sessions over a year ago. He would run in, do some stich work.  do some rows, run back. Every cancelation, every lunch haha. We have photos of my work bestie bringing me chicken nuggets for lunch and im feeding them to him while hes working on his crochet. This is how we lunch yall. Hes literally been my work child for 4 years. Hes not that much older then B really. Not much older then Rhiannon would have been. I cried. I held it while he told me he was trying for the job. I held it when he put in his notice. I cried though.

One of our previous interns who left about 18 months ago, reached out. She wants to come back. Shes been working in the very prison Z is going to. So we are pulling her out, and sending Z in.

God im going to miss him. Hes been a staple for me. And yall hes grown so much. Hes so good with his clients. But its going to hurt watching that one leave.
