It’s probably exhausting for someone who is extremely serious about everything to be around me. I don’t subscribe that everything that happens is a 5 alarm fire. I know some folks like that. If water is spilled it’s the same response as if a biohazard has been leaked and there needs to be an evacuation 5 counties in a 75 square mile radius. Of course I am going to use humor to calm you down - and maybe it’s run it’s course. Maybe I never was funny in the first place. Maybe, I believe if we take a breath for 30 seconds we could tackle one issue at a time and not have to get so caught up that a half hearted remark is the end of the world - but here I am.... ushering in the apocalypse one smart remark at a time. But hey, if you really took the time to understand my heart you’d have seen that my intent is to shoulder the pain with laughter. I’ve always found it to be easier to live thru than acknowledging the chaos as if it was here to stay.
