(1) This one may have been the most offensive exchange of all. 98% of my bottles were bought from a Hy Vee. 89% of my bottles were bought at THIS SPECIFIC Hy Vee! Out of the SIXTY bottles placed into the machine? The machine accepted 31. That’s almost HALF that were rejected! That’s… some ridiculous bullshit.

(2) I… forgot. Hy Vee was distracting, I was tired, I came straight home and did everything else and had entirely forgotten until I just checked this just now. I entirely forgot to do this.

(3) Nala was being silly and I was worried she wasn’t going to earn a GGT. She just kind of sat there, staring at me. Instead of excitedly running to the bed to declare no destroyed bedding, no indoor poopies I got nervous. But as soon as she registered that I was there and it wasn’t a lunch time, she ran to the bed and barked like… “I got here before you, get here so I can get my GGT!”

(4) Gave her the treat, changed into Walk clothes
(5) Took her for a walk
(6) Took her to the dog park. There was some stupid lady.... dogs often congregate at the entrance when a new dog enters because NEWDOG! Often, if the human/dog are just… standing at the gate… not coming in… the dogs really start barking. Because it goes from “We’re welcoming someone new! Welcome!” to “Is this a protection situation? This person isn’t coming in and the dog isn’t coming in? Do we need to bark protect?” And us regulars do tend to get pretty annoyed when people stand at the gate looking nervous because “OH NO, THERE ARE DOGS AT THE DOG PARK”. And that’s exactly what happened. I was picking up Nala’s poop when a new dog and a strange lady came to the gate. Nala wagged her tail. They stood, the woman’s nervous energy radiating off of her. Nala barked: “Come in!” The lady physically shifted and her energy shifted- perceptibly. So, I finished grabbing the poop and started walking to Nala. Because the energy shifted, Nala wanted to reassert “I’m excited to meet you” and started jumping. The lady immediately started angrily shouting “WHOSE DOG IS THIS?! WHOSE DOG IS THIS?! SHOULD THIS DOG BE AT A DOG PARK IF THEY BEHAVE LIKE THIS?!?!” And I was very much thinking “Lady, fucking watch yourself! Right now the mammal that’s fucking up right now is you.” AND when she and her dog came in? It absolutely continued. My dog was smelling her dog; her dog was smelling my dog. And she shouted at her dog to come with her as she walked across to the other side of the park. And any time the other dogs in the park would approach, she would shout. When the dog tried to run over to a group of dogs that were playing, she would shout at the dog and demand it return to her. She did two laps of walking around the dog park… shouting… making sure her dog didn’t explore or play with other dogs… and then left. And trust me when I say… what the fuck is the point of bringing your dog to the dog park if that’s how you’re going to behave?
We ourselves didn’t actually stay super long. Just about 30 to 45 minutes. Nala actually came over to me and started whining because “it got too dark out” which was adorable, surprising, and funny.

(7) When I got back home, I saw that the Brussel Sprouts needed a whole long oven treatment so… that’s a maybe Sunday dinner then. Instead I ate one of the Chinese Food Microwave things I bought for lunch.

(8) Started laundry (still doing it, actually)

(9) And… I do have a plan for the weekend. I just… need to put RX back on it now. And… keep my fingers crossed that I can get all the work done. Because a portion of it is to make sure MONDAY/JURY TRIAL are both taken care of before the end of Sunday at the very least. OOoo… along with RX, I don’t think I wrote bedding laundry onto the list I left at work. I need to remember to do that!

Also Dating Communication Update: Nothing from Sunday’s Cancellation or Third Match. I am trying to exercise the chill, nonchalant, live and let live vibe on it. I’m busy, so they‘re probably busy and communication, especially at this point, should be an “hey, when you can, if you think about it, if you’ve got something to say… otherwise no worries.”
