You’ve reached a point of self awareness that can be both helpful and depressing. You may never reach your dreams. On the outside - it’s okay. On the inside where frustration can’t hide - it hurts.
I get it. I don’t have the IT factor. People don’t sit up and take notice when I walk into a room. They don’t find me approachable after a show.
It’s my lot in life to own this and be content with it. It sux.
BUT ....
You’ve done some pretty awesome things. You’ve accepted an award at the Opry. You’ve held a red ticket from the Voice audition. You’ve been the star of a play and have been cast to a movie. By your own standards you may not have made it - but compared to a lot of folks you’ve done flipping great .. just because it didn’t look like you thought it would doesn’t mean you can just lie down and it be over. Keep having fun - keep enjoying the ride - keep thinking the best part is just around the corner… And live in the moment!
