The sun gets Funky in Journal

As we arrive in West Branch









We parked and at at a Flipping Fantastic restaurant called the Tipsy Bear. And afterwards the sky completely cleared up except for a bit to the south. This is facing southwest;

There is a strip of thick haze to the south that did not behave as the rest of it did. Instead of dissipating, it seems to have congealed into a thicker patch. Also, the haze in West Branch cleared from the north, instead of from the south as we drove up.

I feel curious about what causes these anomalies
