Decided to go around the bay today and that’s why there’s a shore on the other side.

I feel a sad sort of nostalgia. This place is absolutely magical and just as beautiful as all my childhood memories. But, the people are so different. There are some power boats out here. Only one jetski. Not a single windsurfer, glider, parasailer, etc. these, power boats pulling tubers and skiiers, used to absolutely crowd the water, vast as it is. But now, it is so quiet. All I hear is waves. While that in itself is soothing, the lack of human noise and presence sounds like mortality.
