I posted a few fun photos on my biz page from yellowstone. Mostly spinning related Buuuuttt.

H decided to put in her notice. Not unexpected. Shes starting college this fall and so I anticipated it. She decided it makes more sense to work in the same city where shes going to school ( an hr away) seeing her husband does. Totally valid.
She gave me a month. So im hiring now for her position by Christmas, As soon as she finds a MA job. If only she saw how many MAs apply for her job.. She would reconsider it. But its her life. And I totally applaud her for trying and support her!  I turn down MA's for the job because they are so bitter/ upset and tired of being shat on by doctors...

So yeah thats FUN.

I appointed N as team leader for the reception team. Shes helping me keep better track of the 6 seeing I can no longer do it all. When I was just the OM doing those duties I could. Now im... something more. Which dont get me wrong, I fucking LOVE. But im more... ( more on that below)

Our 6th location is set to open on the 11th and construction starts on the 7th however CEO and I have already put everything together minus a few small things lmao. The kids helped and we already staged all the rooms except mine.

We have had the building two months, you expect us to do NOTHING? Its painted inside, there is some construction stuff. But literally, we are like yall will have to go around our stuff now.

Anyway, We put together my arm chair today. Its a dark green velvet chair, and a matching sofa. Its SO fucking pretty.

One of T's clients had some crazy drama between the co owners go down and the one got mad and disabled all his admin access points. He manages their IT and security. So everything's flowing BUT people have been asking for help and he cant get in. So he sent a few emails, called, no response so hes going to be suing for breech of contract if they dont respond by monday. They have a signed 36 month contract. So thats going to be fun. They were conveniently " on vacation" today. When he could see their workstations online AT the office...  He can still see his security stuff because hes the owner of it. What a mess. Its an 18K breech of contract but they arent responding. so Lawyer is next step.. ( if we even get that much its still 50/50 with his biz partner) Even say 8 k would be really helpful

Im going to petition my boss to change my title too. Office manager dosent seem to cut it lmao. I do WAY more then that! Thats going to be interested. I mentioned I wanted to speak about it next week and she seemed a bit guarded. Thats ok, Im not asking for a raise ( T says I need to, but I technically got a 6k raise this year) I just am asking for a title that better encompasses my role. In all ways, I act as a COO but im not asking for that

I would go for practice administrator, but Director of Clinical Operations & Administration also sounds really nice lmao, But we have a director of operations already... our previous clinical director.

Director of Clinical Operations & Administration

Responsible for overseeing all operational, financial, and administrative aspects of the organization, including HR, payroll, credentialing, vendor management, staff supervision, training coordination, billing oversight, and multi-site scheduling.

Some other chat gpt suggestions I got haha

Title

Director of Operations If you oversee all daily functions, systems, and internal workflows

Chief Operating Officer (COO) If you're the second-in-command to the owner/CEO and involved in major decisions

Practice Administrator A step above Practice Manager, overseeing HR, finance, compliance, and ops

Operations Manager If the company is small and you're not involved in high-level strategic planning

Clinic Operations Director If you directly manage multiple clinics/locations and all staff under them

And this is just a snippet of my job duties. I summarized the "major ones"

Your Responsibilities (Summarized by Function)

Clinical Operations

  • Scheduling clinicians across locations

  • Coordinating clinical staff needs

  • Credentialing therapists with insurance

  • Managing reception and client flow

  • Organizing trainings and CEUs

Business & Facilities

  • Opening new locations

  • Managing vendor relationships (utilities, software, supplies, etc.)

  • Buying supplies, trainings, technology (as sole cardholder)

Administrative Oversight

  • Billing and insurance claims management

  • Managing EHR systems (likely)

  • Location logistics and coordination

  • Coordinating all company-wide operations

Human Resources & Finance

  • Recruiting and onboarding staff

Anyway... I dont think Office Manager quite fits lol.
