What Was She Thinking? in The Kid Used To Dream

Took an out of town road trip. Drove to my favorite place and decided to hang out a few days. I went to see the F1 movie in IMAX - well worth it.

I was waiting for the movie and was sitting in the bar of a Dave and Buster’s and a girl taking a selfie caught my eye. She had her camera above her head for the angle I guess and was smiling like she was having the best time of her life.

As soon as the 3rd or 4th pic was perfect her hand came down and her countenance instantly went from happy looking to what looked like disgust. She tapped on her phone for a few more minutes and got up and walked away and the whole time away from posing for the photos - not one ounce of facial happiness.

Gosh my heart goes out to anyone that has to fake their happiness to social media…
