Since we’ve been back it seems like a lot has traspired but.... it’s never enough to blog about, until it is.....
I think Jake was more than a little bothered that I was gone with Rocky for that trip to San Diego. A few weeks ago he took me to Mackinac Island for a day. He said it was to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. It was a nice overnight trip, he was a complete gentleman. We took a horse-drawn tour, spent some time in the Butterfly conservatory, bought SOOO much fudge lol. It was very nice.
Jake has used every pot and raised bed to create a garden. It’s growing well. I look forward to veggies later this year.
Jake is moving his mom today. I think the trip was also a bit of looking forward as I know we won’t see much of each other over the next week or so.... between packing and unpacking....and of course the time he does have goes to his son first.
I have a ton of time today because my car has been overheating. Honestly, I just keep a couple jugs in the car and add it.... the last few days Jake has been tag teaming Doordash with me and giving me what he earns.... which is insane.... even more so is the idea that if I don’t make my daily goal he’s been paying me the difference.
He’s also been giving money to Lyndsey for nearly everything she needs. I don’t know what she’s thinking continually borrowing money she can’t pay back.
On top of that.... apparently she broke up with her boyfriend, who she’s been off and on again with for 2 years..... then days later discovered she’s pregnant..... so I’ll be crocheting baby stuff soon.
Speaking of crocheting. Made a bunch of stuff for craft shows and have yet to sell anything.... so I’m putting stuff on Tedoo.... it’s an app to sell homemade stuff on..... arts n crafts.... like Etsy only without all the fees associated with posting.... It can’t hurt.... as well as FB marketplace, Mercari, and OfferUp.... so I’m working on that.....
There was this guy who was working at a local gas station who we saw all the time..... he’d quit.... I saw him at a burger joint the day before yesterday and he’d asked to exchange numbers.... today was his next day off and he wanted to hang out. I think I said something mildly offensive and he hasn’t messaged me back lol..... but can’t really hang today anyway being as I currently don’t have a car.
I really wanted to post an entry today but now I don’t feel like typing anymore.....
