B and co just bought a car with the money they made form working in Walmart garden this summer. Not a good car but something. They put a starter in yesterday. Took it to a friends today to get a code reader. Headed back, made it to the dollar store. MIND YOU its about half a mile to the dollar store. Was tagged by a cop with no plates.
All was ok. Till he ran B's license.
The dumb ass had a traffic violation, skipped the court date, didnt pay any fines so has a warrant out for his arrest. They were literally so close we could see them arresting him from the back door. We had to go pick up Co and thankfully they let us take their car home.
So now my son is in jail. They said they would book him and he should be free to go in a few hours... Just sitting here... waiting for the call to go pick him up. Like IDK even know... This is such a mess. I feel really bad for him but also.. He did a dumb and ignored a court date. But still also he was arrested. Cop said he should get another court date to FU on the first ticket AND this one. I guess ill have to make sure he is at it..
He had work tonight but they had to call off seeing B is Co's ride. We could have taken him but we have no idea how long B is going to take and didnt want to do nothing in the city till he is done. Like would have nothing to do at all. I just hope hes not sitting in a cell with some asshole people you know. I know he is 21 but still. Hes just a kid doing dumb stuff.
It started out as such a good day too. stopped by my office, picked a ton of cherries, did some shopping, Came home and pitted and froze some cherries. I have a LOT to go lmao. ( tart cherries are good for pies) Was just relaxing, hiding from 104 degree sun....
Sigh.. So much for a chill day...
