So anyway, I finally got [thing] checked out Wednesaday. The dr dermatologist recommended me to a general surgeon.
The ball is in motion, at least.
Couple weeks ago, I set a deadlift PR, and feeling mentally burned out, took a week to ease up my training. (Deload, so to speak.)
The three weeks since, I have bombed my training. But which direction is it? Has an awful mood bombed my training, or has awful training bombed my mood?
I put in PTO for a half day Wednesday, but got the whole day off. Now, I’m not above staying home if I’m sick, but well. I work 40 hours a week. Every week.
And gee, I suddenly feel way better mentally. (Thursday is a scheduled day off.) Thursdays deadlift session went fantastic, and today’s OHP session FINALLY WENT OKAY, after three weeks of bombing OHP.
(In this case, bombing = going terribly.)
You can only eat so well, sleep so well, and moderate the out-of-work free time so much. Sometimes a one day respite from your fucking 40 hour mandatory american suffering is what you need for your mental health, guys.
Here’s today’s OHP and row. I feel minimum 5% more like I’m good enough to be objectified. (Because if a boy can’t be objectified, does he even have any worth? It’s a low bar.)
