What A Day in Hello

I took off early from work to pay a visit to the hospital with a mission.

Mom soiled herself and the nurses ignored her pleas for assistance the the restroom.

Ohhh I was angry.

I spoke with the supervisor and had mom explain what happened.

Later on one of those nurses came in and I questioned her on what happened.

“We checked her front and back. There was nothing so we might think she’s a little mmmhhhmm” and tapped her finger to her temple.

I.

Lost.

It.

“ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? SHE’S RIGHT HERE! LEAVE NOW AND GET THE SUPERVISOR BACK DOWN HERE!”

No lie.

Anyways, after my colorful language at both the nurse and her boss I had enough, grabbed my stuff and walked out.

I got halfway down the hall when my conscious started nagging me. I went back in and all four of us talked. I managed my temper and apologized for my harsh treatment, I know this job is hard, I know COVID made things worse, etc…

Anyways I got a genuine smile out of the nurse in question so I felt better.

At first I was really paranoid about leaving work early but I knew it would worry me till I saw her face to face. I’m glad I called her on my lunch break.

And after the events?
I’m super glad I took off early.

I’m going to go scream into the void for the rest of the night.
