The Interview in Hello

I got lost twice on the way there.
First time I turned down wrong street completely. When I righted my mistake I went the original route. Mistake two. They moved. Granted it was down the street it was a pain.

The main guy I interviewed with, Jason, seems cool. Decked on tattoos, a smoker (the first five minutes of the interview was outside over a smoke) and a fellow ADD guy. We clicked instantly. The owner, whom I’ve met, didn’t remember me and I didn’t mention it.

They were happy with my work experience and I was happy they had dogs. Yes, office/shop dogs. During the interview I got to pet a big German Shepard and a chocolate look lab. Sweet pups.

Jason showed me around the shop, just about every machine I’ve got experience with. He told me they’re hurting for people. Two machinist currently, one guy was out sick and the other has cancer....so ya. But looking over some of the stuff they make it looks relatively easy.

Fingers crossed?

All in all I was there for about an hour and so think it went well.
