Oh C'mon! in Hello

Started on the other tree around the backyard.

Turns out a bunch of vines had sort of woven themselves in that giant mass so I ended up dragging the whole bush to the front curb.

There were so many different plants that had taken root. Lots of poking and prodding in the dirt for all the river rocks my uncle had put there back in the day. Sediment had collected behind the stones and that’s where a lot of the new growth took place. I dug, sweated, cursed.

That’s the pile of what I could find.

Then I tackled the collection of vines and Poison Ivy (Meow! DC!) on the fence. No before or after of that. Got that all collected and taken to the curb as well.

Great.

Fine.

I take one wrong step when cleaning up and pull something in my fucking knee.

I still made dinner.
Twas really good.
Scaryaki (thank you to The Oatmeal for introducing me to that term) chicken, shrimp and instant rice made with broth instead of water. Quick fix and damn filling.

Watching the weather.
This weekend looks meh.
Sunday and Memorial Day look really bad.
