In my continuing saga of everything dying in my wake, the Saturn’s battery is dead.

Uh…that’s my fault.
Hasn’t been driven in a while.
I know, I know!

There were jumper cables in the trunk at one point. But many a year and many a hand have been all over the properties. No idea where they are. Argued about cost with mom for jumper cables to, you know, keep a SPARE VEHICLE going but that was shot down. That satisfying feeling I got after I reminded her my dividend check came in yesterday so that I will be getting them.

Ah, dopamine hit!

If you think that is extreme I was sent out last night for over $20 in sweets. She’s obviously has thrown caution out the metaphorical window about her diabetes.

It is no secret that things are very tense in my world.

I’ve taken to what I call Rage Cleaning.

Whenever she pisses me off I grab my headphones, pick an area and start working on it.

Yesterday and today I manned out in the sun with a shovel, rake and broom. The big oak in the front yard has demolished the driveway in the twenty-five years I’ve lived in this house. Through rack and crevice, root has taken to plant. Sweat poured from my brow as I struck the spade against concrete and earth, digging up years worth of disrepair, raking all the detritus into the recently mown lawn. Using the two old recycling bins, I made a compost pile with years of dead leaves and dirt from in front of the broken garage door.

It’s 82 F
Regardless of protests, I will now do my garden. The work around the house is getting done, the years worth of neglect is finally getting tackled and it hasn’t looked nicer since I can last recall. I’d like to see her move faster than a shuffle now to try and stop me.

Just finished Deathly Hallows.

That was a very good series.

I related to some key points.

My knees ache.

While dicking around on Reddit I noticed my counter on r/stopdrinking is at 400 days!
