Very Hard Week in Hello

Finally had the End of Life talk with mom. I cried a lot, mostly because I don’t want to be alone.

Thursday night I stepped on a thumb tack that went all the way to the hilt into my heel. Pulling that out wasn’t fun.

Friday (yesterday) it was confirmed we’re going to have to put Rosie down. She’s having difficulty walking again and the vet says she has congestive heart failure. It could be weeks or months.

Last night, as I was making hamburgers, I went to toast some bread (out of buns) and the toaster died.

Then I finished The Order of the Phoenix and read where Sirius Black died.
