NYE in Hello

No resolutions.
Just going to continue to keep on my path of being a better me.
Year in review?
It was a learning (and forced growing) one.
I am better for it now and thankful for my life and loved ones in every way.

Now…

Today I went shoe shopping…

Mom was insistent on getting me a gift for Christmas. The Shoe Carnival I used to go to is now Shoe Station. Whatever the hell that means. The inventory sucked. Went to the Sketchers store. Slip Ons need to die. I want a NORMAL pair of shoes.

Needless to say it was a bust

That was two weeks ago.

Ultimately she gave me money and I felt bad about it. Till today I realize the one on the west end of town is open. No less in the same vicinity as the Sketchers store.

I found a black canvas white bottomed pair of Pumas and a pair of chocolate black New Balance.
However my Sasquatch diameter sized feet protested in great discomfort.

I even looked at a pair of old skool Adidas.
AdidNO is more like it!
So luckily that Shoe Carnival had a nice WIDE pair of Sketchers. I was at that Sketchers store though, looking for a basic shoe and their relying heavily too much on the Slip On design. Capitalism…
