A freaking monday in Bittersweet

    Well FFS what it ever a Monday.


First off. We dont allow emotional support animals. Im sorry but your untamed little pet cannot come into a facility with trained working animals. Its a massive liability. 

We caught it when the damn dog took off running THROUGH the building and was nearly stepped on. Maam you CANNOT have your pet in here. Oh its my ESA. Maam only trained SERVICE animals and therapy animals are allowed in here. You said its an ESA. That is neither. 

We made her wait outside and she cant bring her critter back. Im sure hes cute and if he had been in my building I would have given a cuddle too! But those are the liability rules. If someone trips on the dog, we get sued. If someone  gets bit bit the dog, we get sued. if the dog gets stepped on, we get sued. A service dog will never run through your building unchecked. It will sit by its owner and do the jobs its trained for. Service dogs in training we do allow BUT if they are uncontrollable you can ask them to leave. Anyone can get a SD vest and slap it on them. But no matter what you are within your rights to ask a SD to leave if they are being dangerous or acting up or potty on something. 

The therapist told her she could have it. I emailed the therapist, clarified our polices. Therapist apologized and let her know we cant do it again. 

Then I had TWO people including clinical director question the policies we have been following for 3 years. Including telling ME I misunderstood them. Bitch I WROTE them. Literally verbatim on what boss wanted. She approved it.  100% I KNOW im not doing it wrong. I even read the employee handbook they both signed and one said. Il ltake it up with Boss. I said no problem, in the meantime I have to follow the policy AS STATED. Emailed boss and shes like um your right and im NOT discussing that with her. The policy is. Have Clinical director take it up with her, Im like CD ALSO Questioned me on it. But no worries. I drafted a kind email to CD and boss and spelled out the policy and boss's request that CD follow up with the staff lol.  Like yall. 3 years of this. I didn't "misunderstand" my own policy. 


I took Co to the dentist. over 2 hours for 2 fillings. I was so mad. Then I got to work to do payroll, 96 time off slips, Some were done so wrong. I had to go to EVERYONES calendars and manually count hours worked. Then email half a dozen people ( including above pissed off therapist) To clarify WTF they were doing! Most I said well normally if you do it wrong or dont do it, its unpaid time, but its Christmas so I put it in as PTO. If you dont want it PTO you have till tomorrow to message me.

It took me 5 hours to do payroll. Payroll takes me 45 minutes.

5 FUCKING hours. Plus all this arguing back and forth. OMG. 

It was a Monday alight. I mean all's well that ends well.
