Well, I did better today than I did yesterday. I managed to get to bed early enough that I got about an hour’s worth of writing done before I had to start getting ready for work. It felt good getting back into the story, even if it stressed me out a little bit since this is my first time writing something as long as a novel.
Just getting that little bit done made me feel like I can do this. I can finish this story even though I’m working. It’s a bit of an adjustment doing anything different than usual. And waking up earlier than I’m used to is pretty tough for me. It’s not that big a deal. I’m just complaining about it is all.
The more I do it, though, the easier it will get. It’s not like I didn’t enjoy getting something done. I only wrote 8 paragraphs, but it was a start.
