Revenge…Does it bring justice to my soul? After reviewing my past lives, I would have to say–no–revenge does not satisfy my soul or give justice to anyone. Justice should heal the soul, and revenge provides the soul with darkness. Revenge is food for darkness. Revenge is so dark that humanity will pursue it until revenge extinguishes the liberty of the innocent. The innocent have been put to death in the name of revenge, and yet, humanity will say that “it was worth it” to extinguish darkness within themselves. Revenge makes humanity blind, and humanity goes along with the crowd, unable to think for themselves and become heartless that they do not care about killing the innocent in the name of revenge. Through the experience of my past lives in different worlds–this theme of revenge was a constant that eventually caused the death of civilizations. Humanity needs a new form of justice to break the cycle of vengeance. Killing someone in the name of revenge does nothing good for either soul. But how does one turn those away from darkness and to the light?
