In news absolutely no one but myself cares about, I finally have the migraine/sleeping situation under control. I put a 2” memory foam pad between the layers of foam I normally sleep on, and the actual mattress, and pulled it down so that it’s not under my head. So the head end of my mattress foam is just that little bit lower than the rest of it, and it evens out when I lie down. So I don’t have to sleep on the floor anymore. Yay.

This morning while I had my coffee:

I hand washed the dining room curtains today. I’m not sure they’d survive the dryer. Until they’re dry, my only spares are these horrendous things that I bought for the basement. It’s fine though. I’m sure the neighbors have already figured out that we’re strange.

Until I get the summer decorations off of the tree, I had a little fun with the Halloween garland.

I miss the two people who wound up blocking me because I’m against the military draft. The Bird Man of Anne Arbor, in particular. If anyone reading this knows who I’m talking about, I hope he’s alright out there.

But the draft is an abominable practice, no matter how friendly its proponents.

I actually like the "horrendous things"! 😁
They seem to cast a very soothing light in the space.

I concur. I might put an autumn forest tapestry up there at some point, in lieu of sheer curtains.
