Day #02: First Real Meal Cooked in Lifestyle Change (Diet/Exercise Posts)

So as mentioned before I started my diet for the second time in the last month or so and it's going alright so far even though it has only been two days.

Yesterday I knew I was going to be having Pizza since it was my cheat day and it was going to be the last time that I was going to be making non-homemade Pizza so I worked out pretty hard and skipped lunch and managed to still managed to stay under 1,200 calories while burning over 600 from my workout. Today I woke up super late but Ali still pushed me to work out and I had a pretty productive day.

I worked out for 30 minutes of cardio and very minimal weights because of the weights I did yesterday. Then I took a shower and ended up home cooking some dinner. I made Chicken Parmesan and Spaghetti; the chicken was still a little dry because I kept it in too long. I'm very nervous when cooking meat of any kind because I'm afraid I'm going to end up under cooking it and giving myself or someone else food poisoning, I even did dishes and replaced ice in the tray. These all seem like small things but they are things I wouldn't normally do.

Ali also did something really nice for me today. After I finished making my Chicken and Pasta, while I ate it he read me responses from a thread entitled "Why Do Fit Guys Date Fat Girls?". Was basically just a thread about a woman asking why skinny/fit guys were dating heavier girls and that it didn't make sense. Most of the posts were pretty nice and centered around guys not being as shallow as girls portray them to be and that a guy will date a heavier girl because they have good personalities, always work hard in bed, make the guy feel good and feel loved and are generally less conceited than skinnier or much prettier woman.

He's been riding me a lot about my diet and my exercise and I haven't been feeling too good about myself because of it but he is being very supportive of it. He has even pushed me to exercise the last two days when I really haven't wanted to. I find it hard to exercise, especially when I wake up super late, because I want to spend time with him while we are both awake but I really should be taking the time to exercise and shower. An hour apart is not going to hurt anything. I just want to spend as much time with him as possible before the new semester starts.
