Things I’m getting into: the Sam Harris podcast, moral philosophy, the nature of consciousness, the Oscar Peterson Trio, kindness and gratitude, news without the spin, simplicity, and learning how to reconnect with life

Things I’ve learned: I’m a late, late bloomer, that we can’t change the basic genetic blueprint of who we are, the biggest talkers are usually the most insecure, intelligence is sexy, introversion is cool, there are way too many entertainment options available, factory farming is abhorrent, and that there’s a wide gulf between knowledge and wisdom
