I’ve had worse mornings in The Devil Beneath My Feet

Woke up at 5am for no reason today, imagine my surprise when Eric also woke up. I squeezed up next to him and buried my face in his chest, he smelled good. He kissed my head, I squeezed his hand. Lied there like that for a few minutes before that spiraled out of control, and by 6 we were panting, sweaty and wide awake. Still had an hour to kill before either of us had to be anywhere so we lied like that for a little while longer, agreeing that we wish every morning could start like that.

Realistically, it could if we really wanted it to but 5am is early as fuck.

While lying there, basking in the afterglow and working my legs back to life I opened tiktok and discovered that apparently, Soap and Ghost from COD Modern Warfare were trending. Specifically, Ghost.

Apparently the straight girls and the gays stumbled upon an image or two of him and now the Internet is thirsty as fuck about him, the beacons have been lit, the fics are being written, the fan art is being drawn, THE MASS BABYGIRLIFICATION HAS BEGUN

Loads of COD dudebros are so fuckin mad about it and it makes me absolutely giddy because my dude

My guy

We been out here shipping Soap and Ghost since 2009, Ghost has always been Babygirl, you’re just too busy insulting your friends and screaming racist bullshit on mic to have noticed.

Like literally hop on Ao3 and prepare to shit out your entire brain at the amount of Soap/Ghost porn, gimme a break.

This is also coming on the heels of Apex Legends confirming that Fuse and Bloodhound (Fusehound) are a canon relationship (in an adorable and supremely cringey animation on twitter) which set SO MUCH HOMOPHOBIC BUTTHURT into motion my god. “Well I’m never playing again, you ruined it.” My guy this ain’t an airport, you don’t need to announce your departure, no one cares. They already got your money. Bye.

Imagine being a homophobe in fucking 2022, how embarrassing for you.
