now I’m no John Henry
but I am a still-driven man
and I’m no Paul Bunyan
but I’m standing as tall as I can
I’m no Johnny Apples
still I’m sewing the seeds of my plans

I’m not a legend
so I’m not pretend
stumbling coast-to-coast
bragging about my friends
I’m just not that mythic
instead I really exist
but I’m running out quick
