They pull me back in.

I’m trying HARD to avoid the internet. Mostly for my own mental health because as a world we are fucked.

There is no fixing it.

Not anymore.

So I’ve turned my downtime back to my love of books.

I’m on chapter twenty-one of Lewis Sinclair’s It Can’t Happen Here and for an 87 year old novel it’s reading liking a manual of shit that’s happening RIGHT NOW!

We need that comet that wiped out the dinosaur’s second showing.

Everyone preaches Orwell’s 1984. I had never even heard of this till I bought it for $1.00 at the Friend’s of the Library thrift store. This one hits much harder.

Moderation. Prioritize content. For example #1 is Porn and gossip and bullshit low on the list. News just the basics. Great that you are reading! Keep that mind going!

I'm trying to avoid tv. I watch the same reruns daily.

I need to do what you're doing... avoid the internet and read books.

I've been avoiding tv, too. I watch METV constantly and you can only see the same reruns or Svenghoulie so many times it gets old.

Little Chicago reference for ya there. 😎
