So that’s the number this morning. Hopefully my efforts make it go DOWN. I forgot to bring my broth to work - so mad cause it really does help. But I did bring my granola as a snack.
One of the ladies who said she’d be an accountability partner with me works in my building right across from me. She is a bigger lady in her 50s (I’m in my 40s) and she has known people who got the surgery so she knows it works but she has a lot of other health issues that might complicate things and I think she’s also one of those types that says “oh I’m too old for surgery”. For the record, if the doc says you can do it, do it at 50, 60, 70 whatever to get your health back.
However, she did say making small changes in her diet she’s lost 30lbs in 2 years so she’s on a slow downward trend.
She also seems very giving because I told her that yesterday I was so hungry before lunch cause I didn’t bring a snack and I didn’t want to give in to the chocolate chip muffins in the office. But today I brought granola so I’ll be fine.
She insisted on giving me 2 of her protein shakes (the Boost brand which is actually way more calories than the premier protein I usually drink but way less than the trail mix I indulged in yesterday) so I don’t ever feel hungry during the week.
Usually I’m like no, no, no to anything anyone tries to give me. I then feel like I owe them, even when someone’s trying to do me a favor. But sometimes you offend someone just trying to be nice by refusing their gift so I took them. I’m sure they’ll be a time where I can reciprocate.
The memorial weekend is coming and Will aid he wants to make his family and my family a PB bread recipe he’s made before. It’s so bad but so good.
I don’t feel as hungry today as yesterday. I feel like 1900 cals was kinda high for a weight loss surgery person to eat but I don’t think I’ll go as high today. I think it’s unrealistic to think someone would eat the exact same amount of calories every day. Although there’s been plenty of times I tried and then when I would eat over I would feel like the day/week/month/year is RUINED.
7am - am - 10 cals 4cps water w/ Gatorade flavor
745am - 815 am 140 cals 1/4 cup granola
1030am - 11am - 310 cals - 2 cups choc pb protein shake made with water
12pm - 1230pm 340 cals - Pesto quinoa/cauliflower TV dinner (still starving at 12 even though I had a snack aroung 8am)
4pm - 430pm - 250cals - blt salad I made up
730pm - 800pm - 600cals taco salad I made up
9pm 2 cups water
Total cals - 1650
Total water - 8 cups
