Make the bed
Light the light

Parade Horses
Like horses in a parade
We start out fresh, downhill
With the breeze in our hair.
We turn the corner
And go uphill
Still stepping high

I was a little surprised that they split, but honestly, I was mostly surprised it didn't happen 4 or 5 years into it.

Billy was a rich powerful nerd who had built his career, empire and legend on playing fast and loose, particularly with the rules and conventions of the people around him. So my instinct was that he'd be fighting his own reflexes in a relationship, with far less practice than most people get. I figured they'd take a serious shot, and then hit "irreconcilable differences" after a few years.
Now it's much sadder, from here. Whatever they might feel about it, it can't be improved by the media spotlight.
