NJM 2020, Entry 30 - So Long, NJM 2020 in These Foolish Things

What a month. What did I do this month? Usually I have some amazing stories of faraway travel, like the story of the Super HOT Icelandic Pilot (SHIP) I met during a business trip in Shanghai or the prep for a first date in New York - in the middle of Grand Central Station, no less. Or even stories of meeting a fellow PBer in the Smoky Mountains to drive the windy mountainous roads, topless!!

So, really. What actually DID I do this month?

Oh. Riiiight - I watched an election that has seemed to last all month. Somewhere in there I spent a whooooolle day celebrating.

I was woo’d by someone who’s clearly no longer wooing me. OH! Did I tell you that he has Covid? Yep. He’s been sick and isolating for well over a week now and has not once tried to woo since the beginning of the month. I can tell he’s feeling better because he’s up and about, setting up Christmas decorations and posting them on social. Glad he’s okay, but MAN. Can you imagine getting Covid from someone who’s wooing you? That would be the ultimate fail.

I was jilted by about 188,326 possible dates on Bumble. Dating is so freaking weird during a pandemic.

I had a lot of Zooms (if I were reading this entry last year, I’d be like…WTF is a Zoom?)

I’d also be like, WTF is a “Superspreader Event”?!!

Watched a lot of TV.

Had a decent Thanksgiving.

Thankful to be alive.

Thankful to have this place.

Thankful for you.

Thankful we are almost through 2020.

It was an interesting month, wasn’t it? Glad it’s over.
