The Death and Rebirth of Love part 2 in Poetry

She hates today
Cause she knows
There is no love tomorrow
Confused and broken
Trying to put the pieces together
Wondering who she will wake up to
Tomorrow

She knows life is surreal
As the stars melt inside the Moon
And the Sun
Blinks its eye
As day and night
Combine into a spiral
Swirling into her mind

Her nights
Are destined to loneliness
Wondering the desert
Becoming part of the sand
The holes in her heart
Do not heal
Logic and emotion
Separate
Divided by two
And parallel to the Sun and Moon

She is pure and innocent
Her lips are stitched
She’s wrapped and trapped
In a spider’s web
Waiting to bleed
The feelings she cannot speak
Thinking love was forever
And not a deceitful
Moment in time
And all she wants to do
Is run away and hide
From the scars in her mind
