You buy what they sell in Poetry

You buy
What advertisers sell
And you eat
Your way through hell
Just fuck and multiply
Consume the lies
Select and judge
And throw away
The ones that
Don’t taste good on your tongue

Don’t look at me
As if I’m strange
You’re the one
Who does anything to belong
You act as if you are pure
A virgin
But we are all whores
Waiting to cum

You say you know God
And pray on your knees
I say you’re so
Full of hope and shit
When you can’t even read
Your lies are uncanny
Your faith is discrimination
Your absence of knowledge
Reflects the abuse
You use to obtain gratification
And I call you insane

The second you are born
Is the very moment
You begin to die
You are programmed and hard wired
For the human experience
Courage and bravery
Have lost all meaning
When fear leads the way
To your aging decay
