so at whole foods uh yesterday. they were wiping the baskets down for, the customers. i didn’t get a basket. [actually no the only reason i was there was to get chai so.]. but they’re assuming. everyone cares if they get sick. hey here’s a crazy idea! let’s ask, the customers if they want that. instead of assuming literally every single person does. no but really. i think people are perfectly capable of doing that themselves but fine take away someone’s independence. good job. [not asking for opinions btw.]. i mean some don’t but they can ya know? like no i hate. the idea of being protected. why should i care if some random person at the store that i don’t know gets sick? right exactly.
honestly. it’s like people think that everyone in the world is. they’re all actually occupying a ginormous house. and they’re responsible for every single person in that house. and who wants that? i don’t. that’s a reason i don’t want kids. and i’ll probably never see that random person again. [i’m actually not being a jerk. no it’s that. every time i go to the store other then the. store clerks i never see the same people.].
w/ the AIDS virus. i was born in ‘87 so like. even though it happened during that time i obviously. don’t remember hearing about it. the only thing i think people had to do. was not have sex so. and even now same thing. or if they do/did. have sex. was to be careful. and actually. it originated from. monkey meat. yeah true story..........someone in africa ate. the monkey meat and then that person had sex w/ someone and. so on.
actually. interesting story: before i was either at the v&a lunchrm or the british museum one. a few yrs. back. i didn’t ask. people if they were done w/ something or if they wanted help. but i remember one member of the wait staff in one of those lunchrooms asked. by indication. if i was done w/ my meal. and now. when i’m at my mom’s on pasta night. i’ll ask. if they’re done w/ the parmesan cheese instead of putting it away and then someone taking it out of the fridge and going ‘hey!’ like ‘hey i wasn’t done w/ that.’.
oh yeah. so on the news i think it was on pbs. this lady who was 60 was saying. people should wipe down their groceries when they get them........when they unload them.........dear god isn’t that a little excessive? sounds like a lot of extra work. also wiping down bread sounds gross. actually. cause then it’ll taste like the weird disinfectant stuff and not like. you know bread.
it’s funny: so the neighborhood i’m from. it’s upscale and the people are conceited. well most of them. and yet. they put the hospital hand sani. things. by the bathrooms. as though they really care. yeah ok like i believe that. like what the hell? conceited people. i don’t use those cause i feel it’s show-y. like ‘look how good i’m doing’. wow just be. show-y about it and draw attention.
so my parents. the main job they have is they’re a landlady and landlord. that’s actually how they make most of the money. i’m not worried they’ll lost that. also the stores will remain open. [well i should hope so considering food is a basic human need.]. going to the store [and well the dollar store. usually] are really the only 2 places i go when i go out. in aurora. so it’s not like that’s going to be much of a problem. liquor stores are going to remain open. yeah i was wondering about that. not that i go. anymore. but for alcoholics. cause it’s a physical addiction. and it’s hard. like it’s not someone an addict thinks. they need..........w/e and they don’t. no their body actually physically needs it. otherwise they go through withdrawl and a lot of alcoholics are afraid of withdrawl.
right. so the lady i live w/ gets paid. to have me and the other 2 ladies live w/ her. and even if i’m like. on vacation or at my mom’s or something. bc the other 2 ladies are low functioning and have LOS care. she’ll still get paid. so i’m not worried about that. it’s not like she’ll lost her job.
um i think that was it.
