"TO THE LAST BIT OF 2018"

Wow. Time flies before your eyes. As cliche as that sounds, what are you going to do about that, huh? Not much, sadly. You can’t stop time. All you’ve got to do is roll with it. There are plenty ...

What makes one workaholic? The reasons may vary. Some just love the work itself. It’s what makes them feel alive. To some others, they love the money more. They may not always like the job and ot...

Let’s just admit it; stereotyping is hard to tackle. Generalising is always there, whether we’d like to admit it or not. Trying to fight it off is as difficult as forcing a lion to go vegan. We e...

"THE 37-YEAR-OLD ME"

I didn’t want to write this at first. I thought it would be a waste of time. Well, here it is: So I finally turned 37 last month. Big deal. Three years before 40. So what? It’s just a reminder of...

"YOUR EVERYDAY HEROES"

If I had to write a love letter to a hero, one would not be enough. How come? This should be simple. Others might do this effortlessly. When people are asked to talk about their heroes, their ans...

"THE BEST FRIENDS"

What makes one a best friend? The answers may vary. What I believe with what you do can be (and are) different. Some people believe that best friends always stick together, through thick and thin...

"SEEKING TEMPORARY SANCTUARY"

Sometimes you feel like you don’t really belong here (wherever ‘here’ is.) You long for a place to be, where you feel accepted. Where you can be you without (at least too much) judgment. So you d...

"THE BIG CITY FABULISTS"

We all have met these people in big cities. Perhaps, at some point in our lives, we have been the same too. We all know them. They can be blood-related or friends. They can also be acquaintances ...

"THE BLESSINGS OF DARKNESS"

I never thought that I’d be writing something like this. The blessings of darkness? I must be losing my mind. How come darkness be full of them? Isn’t it supposed to be full of deadly, nasty thin...

This is nothing new. I get this question a lot. The answer won’t be short and simple, though. It’s more of one’s journey through writing. How does one write so much? Why? It may start off as a ne...

"ONLY YOU"

Sometimes you’re the only person in the world that you can really count on. You have no choice but to keep on walking, even on your own. This doesn’t mean you never need anyone else, though. That...

This goes out to all the broken hearts. This is for you who have been cheated on, fooled again, and badly mistreated. First of all, I know it sucks. I know it hurts you so bad. You feel like you’...

"SURRENDER TO THE COLD"

It’s the same old, familiar self-coping and defense mechanism altogether. You’ve done this before. It’s nothing new. Some arrogant jerks out there may call this ‘sulking’. You don’t get what you ...

“Silence is golden, but I think it’s gonna kill me now.” Listening to the beginning of Lifehouse’s “Am I Ever Gonna Find Out?” makes me think. That’s one hell of a familiar phrase. Some people (i...

"THE ART OF NOT GIVING A DAMN"

I don’t want to boast, but plenty of people have told me that I look quite young for my real age. How old am I? Some have known, some will still have to guess. It’s been fun so far, at least most...

Book Description

When I was a kid, TV shows and books were my greatest addictions. (Well, besides chocolate and rock music.) I’d enjoyed all the plots, which have inspired me to start writing my own stories. Unfortunately, back then I didn’t think that my life was that interesting. I was just a kid, after all.

Still, that has stopped me from writing. Look, you can see I’m still doing it now.

Imagining things is also my favourite thing to do. My best friends would sometimes tell people that I have rather ‘vivid / morbid imagination’. Honestly, I’d like to give some examples of it. However, I don’t feel that this writing is the best place for them. Maybe later.

I’ve realised that, after having moved out of my parents’ house for years, life has been…more interesting. I’m not saying that this always goes well. You can call this my adventure.

If you want, writing is always more possible these days. Everyone wants to be a storyteller on social media. In a way, they already are.

Some plots are worth developing, while others just aren’t. The question is, which ones are which?
