Well motherfucker if I’m not embroiled in the middle of a conspiracy at work that seems to be a trap.
I have 2 sides of management.
Side 1 signs my check & is conspiring against Side 2 who technically is operations.
The conspiracy is to change my part of the job which currently runs like a fine tuned machine on most days, and they want to fuck it 6 ways to Sunday.
Ive been told by side 1 to keep my mouth shut & basically attend these meetings where essentially I will train my eventual replacement if all goes the way Side 1 wants, which is some fucked up combination of out sourcing to a company rather than keeping on 1 person & potentially hiring a back up person.
The super sad part is this is not a mom & pop business - it’s a decent sized corporation.
Operations Side 2 is going to flip when they find out & this shit is never going to fly with them & they will do everything in their power not to comply.
It’s a trap. It has to be.
So I’m asking myself what is the trap?
Is it waiting for me to break their gag order & clue in Side 2, or is it they want to convince Side 2 that I’m not loyal by the fact that I helped them figure out this new system they want to implement.
Which obviously I don’t want to do.
What I want to do is clue in Side 2 & tell Side 1 to fuck off, but I can’t do that because they sign my check.
Ughh this sucks. I’m so stressed out!
