Reflection without documentation does not allow for future insight. Thought is fickle. Leaving the airport from my visit back home, remembering the years I spent as a teenager, selling knock off perfume on the streets for Scentura Creations. I rode that airport sky car around for hours, never knowing that the future would hold a world of possibilities. I had never been on a plane. My world was so small; New York City and my little town across the bridge. I thirsted for success. I worked 12 hour days, hustled, countless nights without sleep. All for a dream of a better life, to surpass my family and finally fit in, in my little suburban town. Well, I’ve outgrown that little town, found my own path, and I’m so grateful for all I’ve learned along the way. Let your roots keep you humble and your dreams keep you motivated. Physical. Mental. Spiritual. It’s time to transcend.
