so I took off today. dropped kiddo at school, came back home and slept. i can only take pleasure days off when I have income tax lol. Can I just say, I love being able to sleep while I know others are working? LOL I know I'm retarded, however, the word "nap" is just so delicious to me. Life of a mother lol
I checked kiddo out of school a little early and surprised him with a movie (Mr. Peabody and Sherman) They give you glasses with Mr. Peabody's head on them.
He was so happy. Then we went this huge park we have around here, where we rarely go, and then we got ice cream and fed the ducks some bread. We picked up some supper and headed back home where we ate at our local little park and then he played till it got dark. He should be good and tired tonight lol.
His dad hasn't called to see him again. Sigh. I knew it wouldn't last with him. He's so stupid.
So lets do a quick run through on my dating life. Or lack there of. I've met a couple new guys. 1. he's a bouncer....at a local strip club. super nice guy. big guy. 6'4, 390. But i dont think I can handle the job. IDC if he swears he would nevr touch the girls...I cant picture being ok with it. A bouncer at a bar is bad enough, but a strip club? No. Just no.
- he's a head golf manager at the golf club here in town. seems nice. but seems...too nice? not too nice...too clingy? jump the gunish? already talking about how he knows i'm worth it and he can just picture holding me all night and yada yada. that kind of thing doesn't jive well with me. you dont know me. you cant tell me, im worth anything and you know how i'd feel in your arms. the first time i met him he was rubbing all over my back. it was annoying. it was the "im trying to act like we're together, but i'm really just awkward" kind of rub. where they just rub a rut in your back.
idk, once again i feel like i'm brushing people off w/out giving them a chance...but if I'm not feeling it, I'm not feeling it ya know. who knows.
I have the hotel booked for my godchild and I, in two weeks. After this concert, I'm done with road trips for awhile lol This past one (for Luke Bryan) made me feel old. However, my friend and I stopped at the house where they filmed the movie Steel Magnolias! We stood where Sally Field and Julia Roberts stood!! We ended up actually meeting the owner of it! They are renovating the house and will have a huge grand opening in June. He invited us to come back! Super cool! We're so nuts, any celeb rendevous is good for us! lol
ok i'm tired. i just want to lay and stare at my tv for now lol
