I’m lazing around in bed, but I know that I have to get up and be productive. 3 days off ahead, but I need to use them to get ahead.
8:32 am get up and complete basic morning routine.
10:34 am Just done talking to the family. 10 minutes reading for class prep then I take off.
3:58 PM Okay, I let one student take the exam. I graded a bunch of test questions (far from being done now of course). Hung out with some former coworkers at my former workplace. Then wasted time for another hour. Seriously.
Like I would die if I commit to working constantly for hours. No I would not! I should give up Quora completely– except for a few persons.
I lost my purple pen which I had been using for grading, now I lost my momentum too.
I need to:
-Finish grading all papers
-Finish grading all midterm exams
-Finish lecture on conscience and natural law
-Finish law school personal statements
Okay, so I must:
-15 minutes writing email about law school (after that I’ll get straight to writing law school PS)
-30 minutes lecture prep on natural law
-Grade one paper
-10 minutes some other work
3 hours of Focusmate and I’m down from 29 papers to 24. Not great progress but two papers were REALLY GOOD.

If you live in the US you can prob score a new purple pen for free from Planet Fitness. The actual pen is yellow, but the ink is purple. My Planet Fitness pen is my favorite to use for taking notes and stuff.

Woa, is there an "Order Free Pen" button online, do you have to go to their fitness event? XD I'm grading students' exams so I could not use black or blue. I had a box of pens of different colors, but I lost the red one, so was having the choice between purple, pink, and bright green. I lost the purple one, so now it's pink or bright green.

Nah. You have to show up in person and steal one. Now that I think about it - it’s not really worth it unless you have a membership there.
Bright green pens look good in the pen collection, but when you actually use one on white paper it doesn’t contrast very well.

Ah I guess nothing comes for free ... Well, no, it IS a free perk for people who ARE into fitness and this club!
So true, wonder why people even make bright green pens. I guess my next option is pink.
