Meeting with vendor is ovah!

Wheeeew. It was good and tough, just like I thought it would be. And it was the kind of meeting that brings much more work to follow. But now I have my tasks cut out for me. I will be meeting with them again at the Furniture Market in less than two weeks and I’m looking forward to that.

I also learned a lot and I think that meeting new folks only help to solidify my place in finding other LTC (Lines to Create)…in other words, increases my chances at other gigs should this thing go down in flames here at my current job.

Last night was the wedding reception of Matt’s daughter and her honey. It was sweet and lovely and a very small event at Matt & Marco’s loft. I knew they would have food and drink of some sort, but for two extremely svelte men, I’m always surprised at the food they serve. Last time I went over there, they served fried chicken and other decadent comfort food. Last night it was fried spring rolls, fried taquitos and salami trays. And when Marco put a spring roll in his mouth, Matt said, “You’re gonna get fat.”

Trust me, these guys will never be fat. They are farrrrr too pretty and vain.

And speaking of pretty, the newlyweds, with their stunningly gorgeous baby looked incredible. Doesn’t hurt that mom is a natural bombshell and dad is a professional model, ya know? It’s true.

I stayed up too late gabbing with the gays and giggling with the girls, but it was worth it. Matt and Mario told me that they are planning on getting married next year around this time in Barcelona and they only wanted their best, closest, tiniest group of friends with them and that I’m invited! I’m thrilled. Let’s start planning!

While I was wining and dining on junk food (just a little), my phone blew up with text messages - one right after the other - and all from the Big Wild Rancher. I mean… what the…? I guess he was actually BORED in Las Vegas and he sent me tons of photos of himself in his Uber or something and then in his room, while ordering room service, and showing me the view from his room. It was like he’d never been to Vegas before. I didn’t know what to make of it, so I didn’t answer. Maybe he’s into me after all?

Doesn’t matter.

The dude sent me texts. All. Night. Long. At one point he sent a message that said, “Why does it feel like it’s 2 a.m. and I’m bothering you? LOL”

Well, because it WAS 2am, dummy.

…and 3am and 4am.

Finally, at 7am, I sent him this text, “Geez! You are going wild in Vegas!”

To which he responded with crying laughy face emoji.

What is wrong with this guy???

Please God, please send me a normal guy. Please.

Got zero sleep last night. I can’t wait to go home, walk the dog and go to bed tonight.

Totally drained,
GS

So nice but also annoying. Sounds like he is bored and lonely there maybe. Although I will say it's good to put your phone on airplane mode in the night so notifications don't bother you.

honestly, everything you've said about the guy has made him seem like a jerk.

BWR seems awfully naive at times.

Gangleri October 10, 2019

Sounds either lonely or a weird naïveté.

Sounds like a coke binge.

People usually treat you the way you expect to be treated . Or at least that is how the story goes. :-) Find a nice guy, play a little hard to get , let him chase/ court you .. It might be kind of slow paced but you are looking for a real partner in life. You want that man to know you are a woman of substance and discrimination, which you are :-) You don’t just need any guy, you are looking for someone special.

He sounds a little juvenile and, frankly, not in ‘your league.’ I hate that expression; what I mean is that he seems to lack a certain level of emotional intelligence that you clearly have. His all night texts are a little disappointing.
